Perform original customer research to collect first-hand information in customer experience, customer effort and other areas related to successful business metrics.
Analyze and develop a deep level of understanding around existing and potential product offerings, technologies and markets dynamics to inform and advance product and corporate development.
Partner with the sales, marketing and product management team to develop and institutionalize industry reports, competitive overviews, consumer win reports, white papers, infographics and presentations based on market research for use across the organization.
Communicate and consult with internal stakeholders on changing market conditions and effective use & presentation of market intelligence.
Build an extensive data ecosystem by assessing the sources of data that are available both inside and outside the organization and enable efficient data collection using affordable technologies and programs.
Select and implement effective models, approaches (ranging from basic forecasting to advanced statistical modeling) and AI-powered tools to conduct in-depth analyses of qualitative information and quantitative results and to provide insights on industry & competition information, market dynamic, consumer demands and business strategies given the company’s growth objectives.
Synthesize research results, data and feedback from users, clients, internal stakeholders, and management to share valuable analytics insights on market conditions to drive business decision making and to make recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate and coordinate internal resources to aggregate the knowledge and data needed for the execution of analytics programs to ensure quality deliverables and meeting of deadlines.
Deliver insight and impact through a wide range of flexible support models, providing ad hoc, ongoing analytics architecture and solutions for new initiatives.
Education requirement (minimum US diploma/degree required): Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Finance or Marketing.
Professional experience requirement: a minimum of 2 years work experience as a Market & Competitive Intelligence Analyst or in any suitable substantially equivalent occupation (i.e. Business Analyst). Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in data analysis programs (Access, SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics), knowledge in Agile product development are preferred.
